Aboriginal Culture

Located within traditional lands and home of Calara River people, part of the Wiradjuri Nation of indigenous people of NSW, Burrawang enjoys a strong relationship with local Aboriginal people.

Our guests are encouraged to learn about Aboriginal culture by meeting and participating in creative activities with local artists and dancers who are enthusiastic ambassadors for indigenous Australians. See the Burrawang Dreamtime page of this website for an Aboriginal history of Burrawang West Station.
